The Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club (IWMC), first named the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club (WPMC), began in 1987 in the San Jose, California area, by police officers who owned Harley Davidson motorcycles, and who loved to ride with like-minded people. The WPMC offered membership to active and retired law enforcement officers and firefighters. The Iron Warriors continues this tradition of membership to active and retired public safety professionals, who own and ride V-twin motorcycles made by American-owned companies. The Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club (IWMC) has over 34 chapters in 18 states, with approximately 600+ members. The IWMC is an independent nonprofit organization. More history can be found on the history page. The Sacramento Chapter meets the third Saturday of every month at 10 AM at Rosie's Country Kitchen at 6233 Auburn Blvd., in Citrus Heights. We usually have a short lunch run after our meeting, if the weather permits. The Sacramento Chapter hosts various fund raising projects throughout the year. Proceeds for these fundraisers are donated to various charities throughout the region. Projects include donating new and gently used hats and caps to the Yountville (Napa) Veteran's Home for the resident vets. We volunteer and support the Sacramento Law Enforcement Memorial Run, sponsored by the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy.
